1. Dear Jim and Ken, On my last day as President of the JUNIOR LEAGUE of HOUSTON, INC., I thought it appropriate to thank the special people who made this year outstanding for the Junior League and for me personally as well. I Immediately thought of you.
The CHARITY BALL was the most beautiful I can ever remember. What artists you are! Your special attention to every detail meant so much. Everyone is still talking about the gorgeous flowers and decorations. Thank you for giving the League an appropriate backdrop for “A Time To Remember.” Sincerely, Jane Osborne, President
2. Dear Jim and Ken, I can’t tell you how wonderful the HOUSTON MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCE looked Saturday night at the RAIN FOREST GALA. You and your staff did a superb job of creating just the right atmosphere for a guest in a rain forest, from the time they entered through your canopy and waterfall until they left, the effect was perfect. The high chair backs of giant palm leaves looked great and made each table special. The tall bamboo centerpieces with the iridescent scarab beetles racing up the sides were to die for and the umbrella of orchids and palm leaves at the top was fantastic. Wow! The guests who ate in the darkened Gem and Minerals Room were raving about the fabulous centerpieces of aqua slag glass and light. They looked like giant pieces of glowing aquamarine and reminded everyone of something right out of “Raiders Of The Lost Arc.” The pairs of giant winged rhinoceros beetles you attached to the glass were a fantastic idea. So exotic! No one had ever seen anything like it. All and all it was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I do hope we can work together again. You and your staff were a pleasure to work with. Sincerely, Agnes Short, Gala Chairman
3. Dear Jim, The decor for the CONTEMPORARY ARTS MUSEUM GALA was extraordinary. A thousand thanks for turning the museum into a holiday palace. Sincerely, Suzanne Delehanty, Director
4. Dear Ken, Congratulations to you and your associates on the “outstanding” decorations for the DALLAS SYMPHONY BALL at the LOWES ANATOLE HOTEL. It was truly an “Evening of Magical Enchantment” especially with all the hovering fog guests danced through all night long. It was a gorgeous event. I will be in touch for some exciting events we have planed in the future. Randy Gantenbein, Executive Director, Food and Beverage
