1. Dear Jim, On the behalf of the committee for the KING OF NORWAY event, I would like to thank you for the beautiful flowers and the gorgeous setting you created for the King’s visit. The evening was truly a royal event. Cordially, Eleanor Tinsley, HOUSTON CITY COUNCIL
2. Dear Jim and Ken, As the HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL closes, let me say that thanks to you, this year’s festival honoring JAPAN was truly outstanding – made possible because of the professional direction we received from you and Ken. Your talents contributed to the international image of Houston. From the enormous bamboo sculpture suspended over the Galleria ice rink to the opening ceremony at City Hall featuring your massive bamboo fountain, it was all breathtaking.
The beautiful water ceremony you originated made PRINCE AKISHINO’S opening festivities just incredible. Everyone was excited to know that your idea went all the way to the Imperial Palace for approval. According to the Japanese Ambassador, when your idea was presented to Prince Akishino, he was quoted as saying, “Charming.” He was more than eager to bring you the vessel of water you requested from the gardens of the Imperial Palace to mix with the waters of Houston. I wish we could have read the article in the Tokyo paper. Thank you. Our staff offers you our respect and gratitude. Sincerely, Mel Taylor, Vice President-Production
3. Dear Ken and Jim, The SHELL OIL NATIONAL MARKETERS CONFERENCE was a huge success. Thank you for your invaluable contribution as the official contractor for the show. We were slightly alarmed at the prospect of 3000 yellow mums arriving at the LAS VEGAS HILTON - all tired and thirsty. We should not have worried. Your team did a great job and the floral throughout the show was stunning. We look forward to working with you again soon. Many thanks for a job well done. Connie Higginbotham, Heritage Exhibits, Dallas TX.
4. Dear Jim and Ken, My sincere thanks to you and your staff for your beautiful work at the A.A.R.P. BIENNIAL CONVENTION in DENVER. Your decor for the KELLOGG’S sponsored breakfast was both beautiful and a great success. Sincerely, Connie F. Pendelton, Special Events Coordinator, Kelloggs
5. Jim, Since we crossed paths some years ago at the VALUE RETAIL NEWS show in MIAMI, I have been delighted and astonished with your talent. No matter what city, the floral displays and decor you have designed for my variously themed booths at I.C.S.C. have been fresh, extremely creative and fun. They are definitely works of art. My exhibits are not complete until you do your magic. Many thanks, Kat Shane, THE MILLS CORPORATION L.LC.
6. Ken and JIm, The NEW YORK annual meeting of THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PERIODONTOLOGY is now behind us. It was quite a challenge but quite successful none-the-less. You did a wonderful job on all the floral and decorations both in advance and on site and are a pleasure to work with. The gala abord the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. INTREPID, was perfect despite the heat. The cocktail reception in the HILTON penthouse was simply elegant. I love that you are so creative, detail-oriented and take such pride in your work. We hope you will be available for our next meeting in New Orleans. Sincerely, Linda Johnston, Meetings Manager
7. Dear Ken and Jim, As a result of your outstanding decor on our exhibit booth at the WORLD ENERGY CONGRESS, the firm was recognized not only for our relationship with the energy industry, but for our ability to “think outside the box.” I want to thank you again for a superb job. The Cyber Cafe and the Harley Davidson you suspended above the bar was a huge hit. Sincerely, James G.Crump, PricewaterhouseCoopers
8. Dear Ken and Jim, “Somewhere over the rainbow” is where you took the Light Foundation Scholarship Fund guests Saturday night. Never in my life ( or in those of my guests who throw galas like we did ) had we been in a room with the magic and make believe like Show Stoppers created. You are one of a kind and deliver what you promise. In all language, we thank you and we look forward to working with you again. Every single moment of planning and preparation, through all the meetings and telephone calls, you did what you said you would do. For all this, kudos to you and your staff. We honor who you are and what you design with sheer elegance and beauty. With warm regards, Albert Clayton Gaulden / Founder and Director, The Sedona Intensive
9. Dear Jim, The morning after the Sienna party brings thanks and appreciation for you and your staff. As the evening unfolded, your contribution to the party grew even more spectacular. The setting was gorgeous and the impression breathtaking. I hope we will work together again. Sincerely, Karen Tate, McDaniel and Tate
