Every time we see Cameron’s work we are amazed with her talent and her distinctive style.  We first met Cameron when she asked Show Stoppers to provide floral and decor for her lovely wedding at the base of the San Francisco peaks in Flagstaff.  Since then, we have had the pleasure of working with Cameron on many weddings in Sedona as well as Flagstaff.

Cameron just opened a lovely boutique photography studio with her friend, Jamelle Kelly.  Their work can be viewed in person at their studio and gallery in downtown Flagstaff right off Heritage Square.  There is lots of information and tons of photos on their blog and website, Cameronkellystudio.com. After viewing Cameron’s work, you can really get a feel for how she captures images normally overlooked by ordinary eyes.  She has the ability to get those unexpected shots when special things happen that make every wedding unique.

Our own Andrea Carusetta won T.L.C. Network’s Ultimate Cake Off.  Her 7 foot cake took top honors at the competition held recently in Los Angeles and came with a $10,000.00 prize.

The fabulous cake had colorful garlands of  hanging sugar crystals and a pair of gorgeous hand-made flying sugar geese in a delicate gilded cage.  Andrea came up with the design to honer the Korean heritage of the lucky bride and groom who were given the cake for their ceremony immediately following the competition.  Andrea’s incredibly detailed sugar flowers, including peonies, were fashioned by her talented team members under her direction. The yummie cake had passion fruit and mango filling.  

The Sedona Wedding Studio is so proud to have this important cake artist right here in Sedona and as a member of our group.  Andrea’s cakes have regularly gained National recognition. Sedona makeup artist , Liz Margin, was recently awarded the Bride’s Choice Award 2010 for makeup artistry from WeddingWire community, which includes Martha Stewart Weddings and more than 100,000 wedding professionals across the U.S. and Canada. The New York born makeup artist has collaborated on runway shows for some of the world’s greatest designers such as Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan and Ralph Loren.  Some of her most  memorable experiences include photo shoots in Italy for Gucci and on the Brooklyn Bridge for Guess Jeans as well as her travels to Aspen, London and Paris as Sandra Bernhard’s personal makeup artist .  Her roster of celebrities reads like  a who’s who list in the world of entertainment:  Heidi Klum, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Chloe Sevigny, Molly Sims, Matthew Broderick and Tom Brady, among others.  Liz also co-founded Team Artist Representative in Boston.  The 20-year-0ld agency is now the most successful of its kind in the region , representing hair and make up artists, stylists and producers for advertising, fashion and commercial photo shoots.  Liz moved to Sedona in 2005 where she has focused on bridal clients while continuing to travel for photo shoots.  Last fall, she worked with Spiritual Cinema Circle featuring actress Mariel Hemingway.  ” Of all the famous people I’ve worked with and all the exotic places I’ve traveled in my career, this award is one of the highlights.”  says Liz.  ”It means I’ve pleased the most important clients I’ve ever worked with, my brides.  They have a vision of how they want to look, and they trust me to make them beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives.  It’s a very intimate experience with all their friends and families gathered around.  I’m honored to have their confidence.
